“My acoustic guitar got warped and the bridge was coming off. Andy was able to spend the time to get the humidity right to deal with the warping, and to get the bridge glued back on. He kept me updated every step of the way, and did a great job fixing the guitar. I am extremely pleased and will go back for any other repairs I end up needing.”

“I brought Andy my Jaguar HH to see if he could fix some older wiring. He offered to rewire the entire guitar to my preferred setup at a very reasonable price, set up coil splits, kill switches, the works. He also did a general setup and cleaning. The guitar feels better than the day I bought it new. I couldn't be any happier. If you need work done don't miss out on Andy.”

“I was referred to Rhodes Shoppe by Royalton Music Center. I had an older Gibson SG and a Taylor acoustic that were in need of repair. Andy evaluated them and straightened the fretboard, replaced the input jack, secured the loose bridge and more to get them playing like new again! He was knowledgeable, prompt and the cost was reasonable. I highly recommend Rhodes Shoppe!”

“Andy at Rhodes Shoppe switched out the strings on my classical guitar, twice. He also took the time to clean, polish, and condition the fret board which made it feel like new and a complete pleasure to play. I will be taking my newly purchased Taylor Guitar back to Rhodes Shoppe for a set up and bridge adjustment. I trust no one to work on my instruments but Andy. So lucky to have this establishment located so close to home in Northeast Ohio!”

“If you need guitar work done (or any stringed instrument for that matter, this is your guy my friends). A trained luthier as a tech and a musician that appreciates (and can play fluently) many varying styles of music himself, he knows the instrument from both sides of the fence. I have also known Andy for many years, and he is also a trusted friend.
As single-income house (with music providing the $$), not only is it critical that I have my bass/guitar work done right, but as efficiently as possible and Andy delivers that and more. I have some not-so common instruments that have also required custom work (9 string guitar, seven string acoustic - see photos). He treats your guitars as they are his own. What more can you ask for?”

“Found Andy c/o Royalton Music Center. I was a beginner needing a first time guitar setup. Andy gave time to answer all my questions and provided helpful information. Once done the guitar plays the best it's ever been and was really pleased with the service and experience. A+, would contact again.”
